We definitely love our sous-vide machine. One of the best things, is that you can take a cheap cut of meat like flank steak, sous vide it for hours and hours, and have amazingly delicious and flavorful meat.
First, Nick rubbed the flank steak with kosher salt and a habanero garlic pepper blend. Then he sous-vided at 120 degrees for 7 hours. To finish, he made a lemon garlic butter with clarified butter, lemon juice, tarragon, and the same garlic pepper.
For the salad, he tossed green leaf lettuce with pine nuts and and a simple balsamic vinaigrette.
After seeing Amy from lowcarbhighstyle’s winter white pants, I knew I needed a winter white piece. My sister got me this adorable pink blazer from Nordstrom for Christmas, and while shopping with her in LA, I saw that it also came in white.
