We had a pretty fabulous weekend. On Sunday, my little sister Brigitte turned 21!!!! She’s 5 years younger than me, so it was definitely ABOUT DAMN TIME! We had a pretty incredible weekend. Girls dinner and bar hopping starting at midnight on Saturday.

Party on Sunday night. I wore my new Velvet jersey dress. I love this dress, it’s super comfortable, and very easy to dress up and down. I paired it with my Cole Haan heels.

I may or may not be completely obsessed with my new moccasins! Last Thursday, I went with a group of coworkers to lunch at Salumi, an incredible restaurant in Seattle (blog post to follow!). The lunch was 2 1/2 hours, and most of us ended up working from home for the remainder of the day.
I kept it casual, with a tee, jeans and moccasins, but added a faux leather jacket and bold necklace to jazz it up.
I made sure the jeans had plenty of stretch to accommodate the food baby!

Anyone else go see the Hunger Games this weekend? We went to a late night showing on Friday, so in the spirit of the games, I decided to pull out a Katniss inspired outfit. I paired minimal make-up/jewelry with a brown leather jacket with a green long sleeve tee, jeans, and boots. Unfortunately my hair isn’t long enough to braid, so I pulled it back with a brown headband.
My verdict on the movie: I really enjoyed it. I was a huge fan of the books, and I thought they actually did a really great adaptation.
